Cognitive behavioral therapy

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a treatment based mainly on changing thoughts and changing feelings and behavior, as a result of changing thoughts that are not rational. The basic premise of the approach is that humans are born with a tendency towards irrational thoughts, which cause them to feel difficult emotions such as depression, disgust and hatred. By converting these thoughts into more rational ones, the intensity of the emotions changes and accordingly the behavior also changes.
